So, I am in a photography class, in MY LAST SEMESTER OF COLLEGE! It's about time right?
Anyway, we have to post all of our pictures on a blog every week. If you would like to see some of the cool things I am learning, go to http://www.sarahsuesphotography.blogspot.com/

Mother's day.
On Friday morning I called my Mom like usual. I told her I missed her and she said, "I wish you were coming down this weekend." I asked her why (I had forgotten it was Mother's day... I had already sent her her present I had just forgotten that it was on Sunday.) My roommate and her brother were going down to Utah for the weekend, so I thought it would be fun to surprise her!
My Mom came home from work and was surprised to see me sitting at the kitchen table. She had no idea that I was coming!! It was fun to surprise her and to spend this weekend with her.
I am so grateful for my Mother. I was thinking about it today and I realized that she is exactly the mother that I need. She is there for me whenever I need her, and whenever I need to make a decision she offers her advice, but she has always let me be the person I want to be. I know she would love me no matter what I do. She is my very best friend and I hope to one day have a relationship with my children that her and I have. If you're reading this, I love you Mom.

Well, I should write on here more often.
Is it a surprise that I haven't written in such a long time? Since Halloween haha!! Well anyway. Since it is a new year I decided I would post on here more often. We will see how I do with that endeavor.
Here is another goal I have for the New Year (I just decided): Live outside of the comfort zone. I was reading in my Public Speaking textbook and it said to, "Challenge yourself to be aware and to act by choice, not by habit." I have made some pretty nasty habits for myself. I want to be more adventurous. We will see how I do with this goal...
I hope everyone is having much success with their goals at the beginning of the new year!!

What I have been up to lately
Life has changed a lot for me since I last wrote. I have gone from having 5 lovely roommates to 2. Right now one of my roommates is out of town, so every night when I come home I have the apartment to myself until 10 every night. I used to be upset with being alone for any period of time, but for some reason lately I am finding myself enjoying solitude.
Anyway, right now I am taking 2 classes. I love that they are laid back, but I am not excited about the fact that they are during a break. I am afraid that I will get burned out since I will be going to school every semester until I graduate. Oh well, such is life.
My birthday was a week ago and I had the opportunity to go down to Utah and have some fun! I got down there and my Mom and I ate at this yummy restaurant:
My Grandparent's took me to dinner at one of my faves, this place:
It was so fun they sang to me and brought me ice cream with a sparkler on it! Sometimes I enjoy being the center of attention.
My favorite was seeing my family. I loved hanging out with my Mom, and getting to see Jeanene and Chris and their kids. I haven't seen them in a year so it was a nice birthday treat to get to see them after not having seen them for awhile! What a great birthday weekend.
For my birthday I received birthday wishes from all of my wonderful friends, and I got some makeup from my favorite place, MAC! This is my favorite eyeshadow that I got!
I used my hard earned money to buy the iPhone 3GS, something I have been wanting ever since it came out. iPhones are my weakness! I am so glad that I have it now though, it is so nice to be able to take video because I wasn't able to before. Here are some pictures that I have taken since I got my new phone!
My sweet cousin and I, I love her!
Another of S, I just can't get enough of her!
My birthday ring! I love jewelry a lot!
A beautiful Sunset picture I took on the way home from my roommate's family reunion.

Connect the dots....
Today in class my teacher played us a really good video. This is a commencement address from Stanford, given by Steve Jobs. I have been thinking about it a lot today. One of the things he talked about was how the decisions he made in life he didn't think about it at the time, but looking back everything fit. Basically what I got from it is that I shouldn't live my life being worried about how things are going to end up, but that I should do what I want and the pieces will all fit, the dots will all connect. Watch it. It's powerful:
It's pretty long but it is worth it. So inspirational!

I haven't posted in QUITE awhile...
I haven't been so good at updating my blog. I love to read other's blogs, but I feel when it comes to my life it is boring so others probably wouldn't want to read it. Whatevs. Anyway, this is a little sampling of new things that are going on in my life:
My new major:
Communications, emphasis advertising
I decided that English wasn't the major for me. So at the last possible moment, I switched my major to Communication. I have been in my new major for one semester and so far I have been enjoying it. There's no turning back now because I can't change my major anymore! I am really excited about advertising and I know it will be a lot of fun.
Rexburg - Permanent home
I am going to be here for the rest of my life! At least that's what it feels like. I have decided to stay for the 7 week break, and every semester until I graduate. I graduate at this time next year. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel which is great because I am ready to be done with school. But I miss big city life. A lot!
Fun day with My Mom
I was able to go down to Utah for the 4th and I had a blast with my Mom. I love her so much, and everytime I hang out with her it is like hanging out with a best friend! We decided to go down to Provo and eat at this yummy place:
Rooster Dumpling and Noodle Bar
and finish it off with a yummy dessert from this place:
The Sweet Tooth Fairy
We didn't just eat at yummy places, we had a lot of laughs, hanging out and tons of fun. I am so grateful to have a Mom that I can have fun with!!
Birthday Party!!!!
My cousin turned 6 yesterday! Happy Birthday! Her mother, my fabulous Aunt Joanne threw a lovely party for her. Maybe if I keep up with this blogging thing I will post the pictures I took from the party! Anyway, the theme was Matryoshka dolls, and we had a blast. It was fun to be able to help her and be with my family yesterday. I love family time!!
Here are a few of my obessions that I think everyone should know about:
Organix Coconut Milk Mousse:
This mousse makes your hair smell divine all of the time!! I heart coconut!!
Dreyer's Whole Fruit Popsicles:
The texture is AH-MAZING on these popsicles! There's nothing like coming home from a hard day of school and eating one of these popsicles. Also my throat has been kind of scratchy lately, and it kind of burned so I went and got one of these from the freezer and it felt so good sliding down my throat! Lemonade is my favorite flavor, but I like the Strawberry one too. I want to try the Coconut one next. HAHA!
Alpine mints at Winco:
Look at those lovely colors! How could one resist those delicious candies? I love mint, and I love chocolate, and these flavors together are hard to resist!
Mates of State - Re-arrange Us
This CD is awesome. "Now" is my favorite! My friends Hannah Hepworth and Caitlin Briney introduced me to this. Thanks guys!
Well, that is it for now. Hopefully I will keep this up!
